SKIDS GAME 2021 XXXII


Welcome to the 
32nd Annual SKIDS GAME!!  
Last year was a little nuts with COVID and quarantines and all the other crap we had to deal with, including canceling SKIDS.   This year we hope to miss the snow issues of 2019, not have any crazy pandemic outbreaks of 2020, and just have a good ol fashioned, safe, SKIDS GAME.  We have moved the SKIDS out into May this year to be safe and so that the hotels and courses can accommodate us while we still deal with the lingering effects of COVID.  UPDATE: We are set or May 20th-22nd this year.


Like always, the first thing is first - Get a Ghin!  It's easy to get one, and even easier to renew your old one.  Get a temp one here today.  No Ghin, No Calcutta. No exceptions.  Please have your GHIN renewed for 2021 ASAP.

Hotel reservations have already been made, and the tee times are set up as well. You do not have to call the hotel or course - you are already dialed in.  UPDATE; Please note that we are at a new hotel this year!  It is at the same location as the Red Lion we have stayed at for years, but it has been rebranded and remodeled and is now the Holiday Inn Richland on the River.  It's turnkey fellas - pay Joe your 120 bucks and just show up - done and done.  No need to call for times or rooms -it's done already.



Dinner and the Awards Ceremony on Friday will be at 5pm at the Hotel (Holiday Inn Richland on the River).  

So after golf from around 2pm until 5pm, you can hang out at the course with beers and putt or get a late lunch, go shower up and take a nap, go gamble or bowling (if open and with masks) - but dinner and awards, and are not until 5pm at hotel.   UPDATE:  With the current COVID environment, we are looking at moving out of the hotel conference room and having all SKIDS activities in the courtyard behind the hotel.  They will have tables and chairs set up in the courtyard for us and we will get tents if we think weather will be an issue too.   This is where we will have the calcutta, snacks and drinks on Thursday night at 6pm, as well as the award and dinner after Friday's round.

Greens Fees: Prices include range balls and cart - pay at course 
Golf Thursday;  Skids Rate: $47.00 (2nd round if playing 36 - $24.50)
Golf Friday: Skids Rate $47.00
Golf Saturday: Skids Rate $47.00
Hotel Cost: $105/night divided by roomies if applicable includes breakfast - (pay at check in)


The Itinerary:

Thursday, May 20th
-Practice Rounds @ Canyon Lakes GC; 16 tee times.
-We have 16 tee times reserved - see Practice Rounds sheet and let me know ASAP!
-6PM Calcutta Auction and Team Draw at the Holiday Inn in the courtyard (snacks and beverages provided)

Friday, May 21st
-8.00AM Shotgun start @ Canyon Lakes GC
-2.00PM until 5PM - on your own.
-5.00PM Grub and Drinks provided at hotel
-5.30PM Award ceremony at the Holiday Inn at Courtyard - Cash to lose in poker or at tables/dice.
-6.00PM You fill in the blanks (poker, dice, bowling, casino, if open and masked up)

Saturday, May 22nd
-8.00AM Shotgun @ Canyon Lakes GC (8am is gonna hurt after Friday night)
-1.00PM Lunch provided at course
-1.30PM Awards at course
-2.00PM on the road (be patient - if you leave without your winnings, the course thanks you for the tip.)
